Home, Sweet Home.
When I look at this photo, the only image that comes to mind is of a cosy evening with Glühwein by the fireplace.

My Christmas Foray Into Cooking.
Marinated baked salmon and "Birnentarte" for a dinner with my new university friends.
Merry Christmas!

Weihnachts-Treats.
I took these photos during Oktoberfest in Berlin, but you can find those Lebkuchen galore on Christmas markets now.

Hackesche Höfe.
These intimate interconnected yards in the heart of Mitte are a true jem. You can find tiny shops with delicate cashmere, home-made chocolate, to-die-for stationary and a myriad of other things here. Oh, and the architecture is just lovely.

Markthalle Neun.
Though daytime Kreuzberg is not among my favourite destinations, it's definitely worthwhile to visit this charming market. Located in an old building, the place offers farmer's products of best quality, home-made pastry, spices and much much more. You can as well relish the best cheese fondue in a cafe under the same roof.
